The mandoline slicer is constructed from durable, easy-clean stainless steel, and comes with a stainless steel food pusher to keep your fingers away from the blades. The slicer features a rubberized handle for a non-slip grip and rubberized folding legs keep it firmly in place on countertops or work tables. A rotary side dial provides precise control over slice thickness. The slicer set comes with three built-in blade styles—a slice blade for 1/8", 1/4", and 3/8" slices; a julienne blade for 1/8" and 3/8" cuts, ideal for a variety of foods such as potatoes, carrots, cucumbers and zucchini; and a serrated/waffle cut blade for 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" crinkle cuts or waffle cuts on firm veggies and fruits such as potatoes and apples. The blades are a high carbon stainless steel that retains its edge. The mandoline slicer with built-in blades measures 18-1/3" x 4-15/16".
