Fitting most compartment sinks with a 3-1/2” drain opening, DrainKing’s commercial sink waste valve opens with a lever outside the sink so you don’t have to stick your hands in dirty water to open the drain. The restaurant sink drain valve has a 1-1/2” female x 2” male drain opening resulting in a 12 GPM flow rate to quickly empty large sinks. A flat strainer on top of the waste valve filters out most large debris, keeping it from clogging your drain pipes. Unlike other commercial kitchen waste drain valves, a ball valve controls water flow in the DrainKing 22209, providing leak protection that standard O-ring valves can't guarantee. Solid red brass cast with a low zinc content gives it better resistance to corrosion, pitting and pinholes than similar products. Parts that meet the sink itself are stainless steel and the valve incorporates a universal sealing angle in its design; the waste valve sits flush with the sink bottom for an excellent seal, and a stainless steel clamping ring makes installation easy.
