The swivel allows the blade to follow the contours of a vegetable to give you long, continuous cuts. This economy peeler is especially good on long veggies like cucumbers and carrots, but is just as effective as a French économe peeler or Y peeler on potatoes, apples, or anything else you need to prep for meal service. It has a tempered steel handle, measures 6” x 1” x 0.375”, and is dishwasher safe.
