Melt cheese on a burger or Philly cheesesteak; grill veggies then steam them tender; keep foods moist and hot until the rest of an order is done; or keep bacon grease from splattering on your grill or stovetop. The 18-gauge aluminum basting cover is tall enough to keep a lid on just about any menu item except a Dagwood sandwich, and the Bakelite handle stays cool to the touch, preventing injuries. The cheese melting dome has a bottom diameter of 8-5/16” and a top diameter of 8”, is 2” deep. The Bakelite knob adds another 7/8” in height, and is 1-1/2” in diameter. The basting covers are packed 6 to a box.
