This 48” solid door undercounter freezer has a balanced, self-contained, capillary tube commercial refrigeration system using environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The system has an extra-large epoxy-coated evaporator coil paired with a large condenser and a higher horsepower compressor to maintain a constant -10°F temperature, perfect for hard ice cream and maintaining product quality until use.

The freezer uses ECM evaporator and condenser fan motors to move larger volumes of air with less heat, greater efficiency and more energy savings. The condensing unit is bottom mounted for easier cleaning and access for maintenance, which leaves the top of the unit open for storage. Defrost cycles are time-initiated and temperature-terminated to save energy and keep cycle duration to a minimum.

The two-door undercounter freezer is constructed on a welded, heavy duty, black powder-coated steel frame rail and has a stainless steel front, anodized aluminum sides and corrosion-resistant zinc-aluminum coated steel back. The doors have a stainless steel exterior and clear-coated aluminum liner, and are fitted with 12” polyurethane foamed-in-place recessed handles with a sheet metal interlock for strength. The doors have a torsion type self-closing system and removable magnetic gaskets for a positive seal. The handles and hinges have lifetime guarantees.

The interior has a clear-coated aluminum liner and a stainless steel floor with coved corners to make cleaning easy. Four PVC-coated wire shelves are included, along with four chrome shelf clips for each shelf. The TUC-48F-HC is NSF/ANSI Standard 7 compliant.
