This 8" chef's knife—likely the most popular length chef's knife in restaurants—has a razor sharp X50 Cr MoV15 German steel blade, high in carbon for hardness to help keep its edge, yet containing 15 percent chromium to make it stainless. The stamped blade has a hidden tang set into an ergonomically designed slip-resistant, stain-free white polypropylene handle that offers exceptional comfort and reduces arm and hand fatigue. The handle also has a protective finger guard, and the knife is NSF listed, which means it won't harbor bacteria if properly washed in a dishwasher or by hand. Designed with safety and convenience in mind, the German-style 8" chef's knife provides excellent cutting performance and will withstand heavy duty use.
